BMW showed the 2013 M6 coupe at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, BMW fans will have to wait until the New York expo in April to see the convertible M6 in person. In this new model, 2013 BMW M6 Coupe F13 has increased power and decreased weight making it an all around better performer.

This new 2013 BMW M6 Coupe F13 design looks great and offers better performance and efficiency than the out going model. The convertible model will also be introduced soon as well. It looks like turbocharged engines are going to be the future of BMW’s M Power division.

The engine used in the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe F13 is shared with the M5 and has the highest output ever generated by a BMW M car. This twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 produces a peak output of 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. This M TwinPower Turbo engine is mated to a newly developed seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

This 2013 BMW M6 Coupe F13 transmission has a manual mode and automatic mode. Shifts in manual mode can be made with paddle shifters, or with gear selector, no clutch required.
